Chain of Command is some of the best WWII Skirmish rules available today. It does a solid job of simulating squad and platoon level combat, and does so with a tight, elegant style of play that has some real innovation. The rules reward playing to the period, not gamey behavior, which to me, is a sign of good rules. It’s a set of rules I wish I could play more often, but TFL has really done well here, more so than TW&T. If you like this scale of WWII? Play these rules. You won’t be sorry.
