Sherman M4A4 based ARV mark I of the Normandy campaign with simple Jib crane, towing and other recovery equipments covering this highly detailed model, with twin Vickers K guns on Pintal mount. Part plastic resin and white metal model, simple and very quick to build with lots of additional accessories to be added as desired.10 minute build time.

5 star model. It is recommended to use epoxy resin/araldite rather than using superglue when attaching the track units to the tanks hull so last minute adjustments can be made so that the tank sits evenly. A bit of sanding and filling was necessary but nothing prolonged. The metal parts mainly the track wheels needed the ‘excess’ trimming off. I then added more stowage and misc equipment, courtesy of EWM and my spares box. The model was given a dark undercoat followed by thin coats of mixed green acrylic paint, olive green mixed with olive drab seemed to do the trick, coupled with light washes/filters of desert yellow, smoke and dark earth. A few unit markings and Allied ‘Star’ decals were all that were needed to finalise the model. Headlights, an aerial and misc items were added at the end. A solid quality model, which I have placed on a diorama. Recommended highly.
