EWM returns policy
EWM is a small business where we make the vast majority of the items we sell. Occasionally, mistakes will happen, missing parts in a kit for example. Please give us the opportunity to correct any such mistakes before looking to return any items. Fortunately, mistakes occur very infrequently and we have managed to resolve any such issues. We always want you to be totally happy with your EWM purchase and service.
We have tried to be as clear as we can with all our published policies on this new web site.
Returns and refunds policy.
Our returns policy lasts for 30 days from the date you order the products. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, unopened or used. To complete your return and for us to refund you, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. This means we need your EWM website order information or details of which show you purchased these at. Please do not send your purchase back without these included in the packaging as it will slow down the process of refunding..
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
• A book with obvious signs of use
• Any item not in its original condition and is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
• Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchase/delivery
Refunds.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If there are missing parts, we will send these to you.

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. All postage and shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will not be included in your refund.
Please ensure you include your full name, address and order information to make it as easy as possible for us to process your refund or exchange.
If you are shipping a high value item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

PayPal Policy update – May 2020. PayPal changed its rules regarding refunds. PayPal will NOT refund their charges on the transaction as part of any future refund transaction. What that means is that if for any reason you want a refund after you have placed and paid for the order, EWM will have to deduct the Paypal fee from the refund to you. This is a policy forced on us by Paypal. You are welcome to argue direct with PayPal to get your transaction fee back. This is unfortunate, because PayPal have always been most helpful in such situations on the rare occasion they occur.
